Thai Massage & Cupping

THAI MASSAGE (For Ladies)

Thai Massage is an ancient style of massage originating in India. Over two and half thousand years ago, it was brought to Thailand where the technique was further developed.

Thai Massage is a deep full body treatment involving stretches, pressure to Sen or energy lines of the body, gentle soothing massage movements and rhythmic rocking.

Thai massage induces relaxation, releases stress, increases flexibility, improves blood flow and neurological function, frees blockages in energy flow, tones internal organs and invigorates the body.

Thai massage is performed on a futon on the floor with the client fully clothes and comfortably dressed.

 CUPPING (For Ladies)

Cupping is the modern term for an ancient medical treatment (~3,500 years old). It is a method by which various acupuncture points are stimulated by applying suction, through a glass jar for example, in which a partial vacuum has been created. The cups produce a series of blood infused raised sections on the flesh. The drawing effect is both relieving and comforting.

Cupping dispenses stagnation, encourages blood and lymph flow allowing the body to be energized, strengthened and detoxified.

Cupping has been used successfully to alleviate the symptoms of ailments such as the common cold, musculoskeletal and abdominal pains.

Nadine is available for Thai Massage & Cupping Sessions at Kiva on Tuesdays.
